Mr. DeeepBassus on Houselicious-stage – House Clubbing 13Th of August!

Mr. DeeepBassus grew up and got his musical upbringing in a club called Fifty Five (Kuurne). He is considered to be a classic house dj. He has been influenced by a great big gamma of different styles. New York Style house aka Frankie Knuckles, M.A.W., Morales… are the basic standards but never the less his big examples which is the basis for his love for Vocal house music. Mr. DeeepBassus has big admiration for labels like Strictly Rhythm (orig.), but also for labels as Luxury Service rec., Guidance, Defected, Nepenta, Nite Life Collection and of course labels from Belgium like We Play House en Lany Rec. who feed his musical colors. Perfect for those party people that like to remember what the sound of the early days of house was like in the beginning days. This is the musical vibe that Mr. DeeepBassus is attempting to bring. You find him most of the time warming up dj sets and setting the mood for the runner up DJs. Personally he prefers to play 4, 5 even 6 hour sets so he can set the mood for the whole evening, take the people on some highs and lows, the yin and the yan of the music. Mr. DeeepBassus plays Jazzy down tempo tunes with electronic build up. From time to time he adds in some good old warm glowing acid, with a groovy beat, but mostly he’ll give you his Deeep soulful vocals.

Every Thursday evening Mr. DeeepBassus presents Paradiso Perduto, his own radio show, on Villabota.be, you can also re-listen on-demand. In that radio show, he presents a selection of dance music going from 1980s up to the present time… just as long as it bring atmosphere and a good vibe.

Mr. DeeepBassus is known from his early days at Catacombes, L’aMaRaL, Houselicious,… residency at R.O.P. and soon to be playing at SweatShip. He is also a vinyl lover, and takes it very seriously, but it will always remain a hobby with a lot of love for some good quality music.
